Family tradition continues as new partner joins MFG
Published May 2010

A new partner at MFG Solicitors is maintaining a long legal tradition in Kidderminster – he is the fourth generation of his family to practise in the town.

Kidderminster-born and bred, Robert Weston has joined MFG from Three Counties Law.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining MFG, which has a fine reputation in the area. And of course it’s great to be continuing the family tradition of providing legal advice in Kidderminster.”

MFG chairman Maynard Burton said: “I am very pleased that Robert has joined us as a partner.

“He is an experienced civil litigator with an emphasis on contentious probate. He has been known to us for many years and we are very happy to welcome him.”

Three Counties Law has ceased to practise after Mr Watson and partner Paul Stafford decided to go their separate ways. Mr Stafford has joined a Worcester law firm.

Mr Weston, a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists, began his career as a trainee legal executive in 1987.

He worked in Kidderminster, Worcester and Birmingham before establishing Three Counties Law.

Mr Weston, aged 45, is married with two children.
