Jonathan Clifford Jonathan Clifford is an associate at mfg Solicitors. He has been with the firm since May 2005 when he moved from the Birmingham office of national firm, Cobbetts. Jon heads up the Rural Disputes team within the Civil Litigation Division. Areas of expertise: Typical work includes contested land registry applications, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes and possession claims; together with landlord and tenant disputes such as contested lease renewals, forfeiture and dilapidations claims. Whilst many of Jon’s cases are at a County Court or High Court level, he will always try to explore alternative methods of resolution such as arbitration and mediation. Some of the broader disputes Jon deals with include breach of contract, professional negligence, trespass and environmental issues. Membership of professional bodies and organisations: Jon is a member of both the Agricultural Law Association and the Property Litigation Association and regularly gives talks on contested agricultural issues. |
