Peter Simner - Head of Division Peter has been with mfg since 1983. In addition to being a Partner, he is a Management Board Member and is also Head of the firm’s Residential Property Division and ICT Partner. Areas of expertise: Working in the Residential Conveyancing Division, Peter specialises in mortgages, sales and purchases. His expertise also includes residential estate development with specialist knowledge of acquisition of sites for builder and construction clients, option agreements, conditional contracts and sale of plots following development. With nearly 30 years' experience in his profession, Peter has developed vast knowledge of his sector. He specialises in dealing with private individual clients and small to medium-sized developers. Interests: Peter’s interests are wide and varied, ranging from photography, golf, walking, flying, reading, cooking and gardening (in particular growing hot chilli peppers!!!!!) |

Chris Bovey Chris Bovey has been with mfg Solicitors since 1981 and is a partner working within the residential conveyancing division. Areas of expertise: With more than 30 years' experience as a qualified solicitor, Chris boasts a wealth of knowledge offering vast and reputable expertise in property issues. He is able to provide property advice to the full range of mfg clients covering topics such as leases, sale and purchase, commercial development and financial matters. Membership of professional bodies and organisations: Chris is a member of the Law Society. Interests: Chris is largely involved in the local community and is a founding board member of the Bromsgrove District Housing Trust and chairman of Bromsgrove Housing Initiative which is building affordable housing for local residents. In addition, he has also carried out extensive work for the Spa Housing Association which currently manages more than 2,500 properties in Droitwich and the surrounding areas. In his spare time Chris enjoys playing golf, going to the theatre, travelling and spending time with his family. His two children haven’t followed their father’s footsteps; both are with accountancy firms, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Ernst & Young! |

Sharon Lerry Sharon has been with mfg Solicitors since 1998 and has specialised in Conveyancing since 2003. Areas of expertise: Sharon deals with all aspects of residential domestic conveyancing which includes all freehold and leasehold transactions, new builds and is particularly recognised for auction work, acting for first time buyers and preparing Home Information Packs. Andrew Davies Andrew Davies joined mfg in 2003 and is an associate in the firm's residential property department. Areas of expertise: He has extensive experience in residential conveyancing and worked for practices in Birmingham city centre and the Black Country before joining mfg. He works with clients ranging from first time buyers to people purchasing high value country properties and in leading his team is committed to providing the highest standards of client care while developing and further improving services to customers. Membership of professional bodies and organisations: Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, Andrew is currently participating in the Land Registry consultations on electronic conveyancing. |

Beverley Clinton Beverley is a Legal Assistant who has worked at mfg’s Halesowen office for over 30 years. Areas of expertise: She has particular expertise in residential conveyancing and has now has extensive experience in dealing with her own roll of fee-earning clients. Interests: In her spare time she enjoys Latin American and Ballroom dancing, beauty therapy and is a member of the British Red Cross. |

Laura Harding Laura is a legal executive in the property division based at Bromsgrove and has been with the firm since July 2001. During her eight years’ conveyancing experience, Laura has completed a five year Legal Executive Course at Worcester Law School, and is now a Graduate of the Institute of Legal Executives specialising in Land Law and Conveyancing. Areas of expertise: She focuses on residential conveyancing, acting for buy to let property investors in relation to sales purchases and refinancing. Laura also assists with development work and commercial property matters. Interests: In her spare time, she enjoys reading, socialising and travelling. |

Becky Husband Becky has been with mfg since November 1998 and is a plot sales executive in the property division based at Bromsgrove. With over 10 years’ conveyancing experience, Becky has previously assisted in acting for national housebuilders Crest Nicholson and David Wilson Homes Limited. Areas of expertise: Becky’s work mainly involves carrying out plot sales and part exchange transactions, together with assisting in land acquisitions of development sites and acting for mortgagees funding land acquisitions on behalf of developer clients. Interests: In her spare time, Becky enjoys socialising, walking, reading and travelling. Her love of visiting new countries led her to spend 12 months working and travelling across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia. |
