Shropshire law firm mfg Solicitors and the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) hosted their annual Spring agricultural seminar at Shrewsbury’s Greenhous Meadow Stadium.
The free event was attended by over 50 people from across Shropshire’s rural communities including farmers, business owners and industry professionals.
Guests were treated to drinks and canapés following the seminar where presentations and topics focussed on renewables, CAP reform, share farming agreements and tax.
Susan Morrissy, partner with the agricultural and rural team at mfg Solicitors, said: “More than ever there are a variety of important legislative changes on the horizon for Shropshire’s farmers and rural businesses. The seminar was a tremendous success and was the latest in our programme of farming and land-related events. It gave the chance for us to reflect on the issues that are worrying people and ensured those who attended went away feeling informed about the future.”
