Gill has been a professional Court of Protection Deputy (Property and Financial Affairs) herself for over 12 years, now acting for around 30 clients as Deputy, around the Worcestershire, Shropshire and West Midlands areas. Gill is a non-solicitor, with a former background as an Independent Financial Adviser and a Building Society manager. Gill has now worked for Solicitors since in 1997, initially specialising in probate and trust administration and moving to Court of Protection administration in May 2000.
She attained a BSc degree from the Open University, specialising in organisational systems of management and adult health and social care.
Gill’s love of organising, systems and her financial background make her ideally suited to managing the financial affairs of others and administration of estates. Gill adopts a team based approach to find ways to work with the clients, their family & friends, social workers, carers and other professionals to enhance and improve situations for her clients, wherever possible.
Gill gives credit for her no nonsense, down to earth and friendly approach to her Black Country roots.

Gill lives in Dudley with her husband. They have 2 daughters. In her spare time, loves doing “anything crafty” and runs a monthly craft workshop at her local church, where she is also an active member. She and her husband are learning to play the ukulele, and are members of a local ukulele group, often performing in local clubs, churches and care homes.
