Cheryl joined mfg Solicitors in June 2016 as part of the Private Client Team, based at Kidderminster Office.
Cheryl has been a caseworker in Court of Protection matters for over eight years, and supports Court of Protection appointed deputies on any day to day issues that may arise from our 30 or so existing clients. This could include but is not limited to; visiting clients at home, arranging a property for sale or liaising with third parties. The role requires a flexible and organised approach which Cheryl very much enjoys. Cheryl also has experience in dealing with other private client matters in probate and trust administration, will drafting, lasting power of attorney and deputyship applications.
Cheryl's expertise include: Court of Protection Deputyships (applications and case management), Lasting Power of Attorney, Registration of Enduring Power of Attorney, Wills and Statutory Wills, administration of estate.
Cheryl is currently studying level 3, Law and Practice, through the Chartered Institute of Legal executives (CILEx) and hopes to pursue level 6 qualifications to qualify as a Fellow of CILEx in due course. Cheryl is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute for Legal Executives.
