The loss of a loved one is utterly devastating in normal times, but it is desperate for those people who have lost someone during the current coronavirus outbreak.
Not only are there the vital, but incredibly harsh restrictions on who can attend funerals, but also the difficult mental health challenges of being alone in isolation when you really need the love of your friends and family.
To try to help those who are so sadly bereaved, the NHS have issued a helpful article with some useful contacts: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stress-anxiety-depression/coping-with-bereavement/
Speaking to someone who is experienced and knowledgeable in bereavement issues really can help reduce the bewildering stress.
I, and my team, are also here for you at the end of the phone if you want to chat through what steps you might need to take or if you need some support or guidance. We can help.
As one of my clients just emailed “Your hard work over the past year has been so helpful to us all, as you have steered us through the complicated waters of wills and probate. At every step of the way you have managed every detail with professionalism and genuine care for us all, especially for Mum, who has frequently commented on just how wonderful you have been.”
If you know someone who has been recently bereaved or if you are bereaved yourself, please do call me on my work mobile 07384833742 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
