Andrew Chandler

Andrew Chandler joined the firm in 2014 and is a Partner in the Contentious Probate Department within the Civil Litigation Division. He also heads the firm’s Contentious Probate Department, which is one of the largest specialist teams in this area of law in the country.

Within Contentious Trusts and Probate, mfg is a first tier firm within The Legal 500 quoting Andrew as being “'very diligent” and that he has “a good knowledge of this area”.

Andrew specialises in all issues of Contentious Probate, acting for both individuals and trust corporations in matters relating to testamentary capacity, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and in matters where the validity of a Will is challenged.

Prior to joining the firm Andrew worked for a number of years at an international law firm on behalf of FTSE 100 insurer clients in defending claims where fraud was suspected.
