Neil originally trained with mfg, qualifying into the Agriculture & Rural Affairs Team and progressing to Associate before moving to practice in-house. He rejoined mfg as a Partner in December 2025, bringing with him over 12 years’ experience as an in-house legal counsel within the private sector.
His background includes senior legal roles at Farmfoods – a leading UK frozen food and grocery retailer – and M Core, a major international property investment, development and asset management group of companies.
This commercial experience complements his earlier private practice work and gives him insight into the operational, strategic and legal challenges faced by rural businesses, estates, landowners and occupiers. His return to the firm unites his deep private practice expertise with his commercial and corporate skillset, enabling him to provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice to his clients.
