Rachel Chambers

Rachel joined the Firm in 2018 as a Trainee Solicitor qualifying in March 2021. She is within the Firm's Commercial Litigation team and is based at the Kidderminster office.

Rachel obtained her joint honours degree in Law and Criminology from Lancaster University in 2015 before completing the Legal Practice Course Staffordshire University in 2017, achieving a Distinction level grade.

Rachel is on the Committee for the Shropshire Junior Lawyers Division. 

Areas of Expertise:

Rachel works in the Commercial Litigation Department and specialises in commercial debt recovery and the issuing and defending of civil claims. Rachel has dealt with a breadth of claims but primarily focuses on breach of contract, misrepresentation, professional negligence and consumer matters.

Rachel also utilises her experience in Property Litigation to assist commercial landlords and tenants with disputed dilapidation and service charge claims, breach of covenant claims and rent arrears.

Rachel regularly takes instructions from small and medium enterprises to assist with the recovery of invoice debts. Rachel is able to provide cost effective debt recovery services that are tailored to your business needs. Rachel’s knowledge of the various enforcement options means that she is able to advise you from the very outset of a claim right through to enforcement of the judgement to maximise the chances of a recovery.

Rachel has years of experience of acting on behalf of both claimants and defendants in both small claim and fast track matters, and also assists more senior members of the team with complex, multi-track claims.  Rachel recognises the benefits of negotiation and is able to provide commercially-focused, strategic advice with regard to alternative forms of dispute resolution.
