Sarah Bradford

Sarah is a Commercial Real Estate Partner at mfg Solicitors, leading the Commercial Real Estate team at our Black Country office, based at The Waterfront, Brierley Hill. Sarah also collaborates closely with colleagues across our wider Real Estate Team, supporting clients throughout Worcestershire, Shropshire and the Midlands.

Sarah focusses on guiding clients through the technical and commercial aspects of their property transactions. She aims to add value not only by helping clients enhance the financial performance of their property assets and portfolios, but also by understanding their wider business objectives. Sarah delivers tailored, commercially driven advice that minimises risk and reduces legal and financial exposure.

Areas of Expertise:

Sarah has more than 22 years' experience in commercial property practice including acting for investors, lenders, borrowers, insolvency practitioners and pension funds on a wide range of real estate transactions. Her work spans commercial property acquisitions, disposals and portfolio management, including complex Landlord and Tenant matters as well as property finance and insolvency related property transactions.

Sarah brings a strong ability to analyse and manage complex transactions. Sarah draws on this depth of knowledge to provide practical solutions that help clients achieve their strategic property goals.

Sarah has significant experience acting for mainstream lenders, mezzanine and second tier lenders, and private equity providers on property and development finance matters. Her approach is proactive and commercially focused—identifying and mitigating risks during due diligence, understanding each client’s priorities and risk appetite, and driving transactions forward to meet required timescales.

Sarah also regularly act for borrowers on finance and refinance transactions, whether linked to acquisitions, development projects or corporate restructuring.

Sarah provides real estate support on a wide range of corporate transactions, ensuring that property elements are managed efficiently and aligned with the wider commercial objectives of the deal.

Her approach to commercial property work is clear, pragmatic and solution led. She is comfortable handling complex structures, resolving issues that arise during negotiations, and project managing all parties to deliver excellent service and successful outcomes for clients.

Membership of Professional Bodies & Organisations:

Alongside her work in commercial real estate, Sarah is proud to serve as an Enterprise Advisor to King Edward VI College, Stourbridge. The college is marking a significant milestone—50 years as a sixth form college, with its heritage stretching back to 1430 and its Royal Charter granted by King Edward VI in 1552. 

Supporting such a long, established and respected educational institution in the Black Country is especially important to Sarah. Her contributions to the development of young people in our region and helping them prepare for future careers is a meaningful way for her to give back to the community that shaped her early education.
