A local charity is set to benefit from a two-week discounted will-writing promotion being offered by Kidderminster’s largest law firm.
From 8-19 October, the Kidderminster office of MFG Solicitors will be raising funds for Worcestershire charity Sight Concern by offering people the chance to write a simple will for a discounted price of £50.00, inclusive of VAT.
The rare appointment-only promotion, which coincides with World Sight Day on 11 October, will see the law firm extending the opening hours at their Birmingham Road offices throughout the two weeks from between 8am and 6pm. A move MFG hope will encourage as many participants as possible.
Valerie Robinson, partner at MFG Solicitors in Kidderminster said; “Volunteers at Sight Concern have been supporting visually impaired people across the Wyre Forest for over 80 years. They’ve shown a tremendous dedication and given people the skills and confidence to carry on with their daily lives. With more funding, Sight Concern wants to reach out to more local people who are affected by sight loss so we will be doing all we can to raise as much as possible during our wills promotion.
“The promotion not only gives the firm and people across Wyre Forest an opportunity to raise money for a great charity, but lets us underline why people must plan carefully for their future by drawing up a professionally prepared will. It is a wise move which ensures their possessions are only passed on to those closest.”
