Ludlow Law Firm Expands Services For Local Clients

  • Posted

A Ludlow law firm is expanding its private client offering in the town as part of its ‘substantial’ growth during the past 12 months.

mfg Solicitors, which merged with Corve Street-based practice Phillips & Co last July, has brought in assistant solicitor Will Jones from the firm’s Kidderminster office following a promising growth in demand locally and across Shropshire.

The 28-year-old, who qualified in 2010, is now part of the firm’s Ludlow team where he is advising clients on a range of private matters including wills, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.

The move is the latest good news for the firm which pledged to provide a wider range of services and expertise for clients in the town when it completed the merger deal with Phillips & Co partners, George and Peter Stephens, last summer.

Peter Stephens, partner at mfg Solicitors, said: “Will being part of our team here in Ludlow is already strengthening our private client services we offer locally and further afield.

“Since the mfg merger 12 months ago we have seen substantial growth in the number of clients we are advising and have been able to tap into the firm’s wider knowledge, networks and specialist teams.

“That has been a big plus and feedback from our clients, both new and existing, has been exceptional.

“Our private client services have always been strong and we have built a good reputation over many years. But adding Will to the team helps put things on a different level.

“He is known for his attention to detail and professionalism and that makes him very popular with our clients. His drive and energy is an important part in the future of our Ludlow office.”

Aside from its Corve Street offices, mfg Solicitors also has Shropshire offices in Telford, Craven Arms and Cleobury Mortimer. The firm also has main offices in Kidderminster, Worcester and Bromsgrove.
