Shropshire law firm mfg Solicitors has appointed a wills and probate expert to its growing private client department.
Solicitor Janna Pugh has joined the firm from a Hereford practice and will be based at mfg’s Ludlow office, working closely with partner Peter Stephens to advise the firm’s clients on wills, powers of attorney, elderly client advice and estate administration.
The 37 year-old, who lives in Ludlow, is also a widely-recognised care specialist with a history of advising clients and their relatives on care home fees and mental capacity issues.
Mr Stephens said: “Janna is a tremendous addition to our team. She is a local lawyer who is keen to be involved in the Ludlow and Shropshire markets.
“Having worked in law since 2005 and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2010 she has gradually built a reputation as a talented solicitor who is efficient and professional. She is already working closely with our clients and making a very positive impression.”
Ms Pugh, added: “I am passionate about Ludlow and I am excited about working in the community to develop meaningful relationships with clients and other Ludlow professionals.
“I jumped at the opportunity to be part of the team at mfg Solicitors. The firm has a fantastic reputation and large private client division which is spread across the region. I am looking forward to playing my role in developing the Ludlow office in the months and years ahead.”
Ms Pugh’s appointment comes 18 months after the firm merged with the long established Ludlow practice, Phillips & Co. Mr Stephens added that since the merger in June 2013 the firm has continued to increase the number of clients it advises in the town, across Shropshire and the Welsh border.
mfg’s Shropshire offices are in Ludlow, Craven Arms, Telford and Cleobury Mortimer.
