Domestic  abuse is physical, sexual, psychological or financial violence that takes place within an intimate or family-type relationship and that forms a pattern of coercive and controlling behaviour. This can include forced marriage and so-called ‘honour crimes’.

We can help obtain a non-molestation order, more commonly known as an injunction to  stop the abuse.

We can sometimes help obtain an occupation order which is a Court order requiring the abuser to leave the home and not return for a specified period.

In some cases these orders can be obtained within 24 hours from the Court.
